Kidmet ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Kidmet mobile application ("the App") and the Kidmet website handle information. Kidmet is designed to operate offline, without user accounts, and without collecting personal data from users.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
The App allows parents or caregivers to create kid profiles (first name, age, emoji avatar), goals, daily habits, rewards, and progress records.
All such information is stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit, upload, or store this data on external servers.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Kidmet does not require account creation and does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, advertising identifiers, or behavioral analytics within the App.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Kidmet offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions. All payments and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.
We do not receive or store credit card information or Apple Account credentials. We receive only confirmation of subscription status from Apple to enable premium features.
4. Website Analytics
Our website may use privacy-friendly analytics services provided by Vercel to understand general website usage.
These analytics may collect limited technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate region, and pages visited. This data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals. The Kidmet mobile App itself does not use analytics or tracking technologies.
5. Contact Form
If you contact us through a website contact form, we may receive information you voluntarily provide (such as your name, email address, and message content).
This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not used for marketing purposes.
6. Children's Privacy
Kidmet is designed for use by parents or guardians. While parents may enter limited information about children within the App, this information remains stored locally on the device.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction).
7. International Users
Kidmet is available worldwide. Because the App does not collect or transmit personal data, most privacy regulations such as the GDPR (European Union), UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA (California), and similar laws apply only to limited website interactions such as contact form submissions.
When processing contact form data, we rely on your consent and legitimate interest in responding to your request.
8. Data Retention
App data remains on your device until you delete it, delete the App, or reset your device.
Contact form messages are retained only as long as necessary to respond to inquiries.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding personal data. Because Kidmet does not store user data on external servers, requests related to App data must be managed directly on your device.
For website contact form data, you may request access, correction, or deletion through the contact form.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Updates will be reflected by revising the Effective Date above.
